A very wet day did not deter the small group of ladies from joining the Fremantle RSL to help celebrate and remember ANZAC Day, singing songs that are typical of our Australian heritage. In addition, a handful of ACW members baked 2000 Anzac cookies for the Diggin’ for Diggers campaign where community members provide gardening and household chores in support of local ‘Diggers’, helping them to stay in their own homes. Their baking efforts raised $1500 towards kick starting this valuable program.
