We Sing National Anthem for Wildcats

On Friday 4 June, 29 lucky ladies had the honour of singing the Australian National Anthem at the Wildcats vs Melbourne United NBA game. After dealing with the new Covid challenges involving a different entrance, signing in and even having our temperatures taken, sound check was complete and we were ready. We didn’t get to sing on the court – it was a players only zone – but we sang with gusto remembering to sing the new lyric “for we are one and free”. Then stayed to watch the game. Thank you Wildcats for the opportunity – hope to come back and do it again some day.
