At ACW we sing in the barbershop style, which involves 4 part harmony singing without any backing music or instruments. We do not sing with sheet music during performances, and we include physical movement and bodily expression in our musical delivery.
Our performances range from community events around Perth, music festivals, hospital and aged care facilities, Christmas carols in shopping centres, as well as local eisteddfods and national (and even international) competitions with Sweet Adelines.
We believe strongly in providing a fun, supportive and nurturing environment for women of all ages to sing, learn, perform and enjoy the company and friendship of like minded women.
